How to get there
From Bangkok to Chiang Khan Walking Street the distance is roughly 576 kilometres. Take Phaholyothin Road for about 75 kilometres heading toward Saraburi Province, then take a left to get on the Mittraphap Road heading straight for about 89 kilometres to Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Continue driving straight for 14 kilometres until you see signs for Road 201 and Road 24. Turn onto Road 201 then head straight for 124 kilometres to reach Chaiyaphum Province. Continue on Road 201 for about 97 kilometres until you reach Chum Phae, a district in Khoen Kaen Province. When reaching Chum Phae’s signal light, turn left onto Road 12 heading toward Nam Nao National Park and drive straight for 12.7 kilometres. Turn right onto Road 201 toward Loei Province and continue straight for 114 kilometres to reach the three-way intersection of Loei Town. Turn right to head towards Chiang Khan District. After reaching Kaeng Khut Khu, go straight for 48.3 kilometres towards a three-way intersection, then turn right onto Kaeng Khut Khu again. From there, go straight and look for Si Chiang Khan Rd Soi 10 on the left-hand side. Turn left into the soi (alley) and go straight to the end of the alley. Here you have finally arrived at your destination, the Chiang Khan Walking Street (Chai Kong Road)!
