Wanting to preserve her family’s recipes, Tubtim expanded her home-based tiffin business into a casual restaurant in her garden home. A Thai-Chinese auntie who has cooked for the family for decades runs the kitchen and the food here is an interesting blend of homestyle southern Thai cuisine and Hakka Chinese fare – braised sweet pork and anchovy, chilli and sour mango relish, for example. Advance booking is recommended, as the place opens only three days a week.
