Originally from a prawn farming background, owner Khun Kob opened Bang Pae back in 1994, inspired by a love of cooking. All the recipes are created and adapted by Kob herself, while the herbs come from her own garden and seafood is delivered daily by local fishermen. Be sure to order the Yam Ta Khrai or lemongrass salad made with thinly sliced lemongrass, fresh seafood and a secret sauce as it’s this dish of which Kob is most proud.
