It is situated on the edge of Sirindhorn Dam Reservoir, 2 km. before Chong Mek border. On the right side appears the road to the temple and takes only 3 km. It is the eighth branch of Nong Pa Phong temple.

Wat Pa Phothiyan located on Sirindhorn Reservoir, Tambon Chong Mek, Amphoe Sirindhorn. To get there, follow Highway no. 217 (Ubonratchathani - Chong Mek) 90 kilometre and turn right 3 kilometres, you will reach it.
