Located in Huay Leuk area Huay Tad on the banks of Mae River, South of Mae Tan Community. Assumed to be the site of Chod Old Town according to investigation from fine arts department.
Remainders of ancient city were found in the South of Baan Mae Dan, nearby Mei River. Inside, there is a mound separated by canal, which also acts as ancient wall. In theWest, there are 3 levels of kirk, chapel, 10 chedis, 20-meter-deep brick pool. Moreover, a lot of bricks found were from Sukhothai period, some were from Ayutthaya, and there was no mortar. Around the kirk is a group of bricks at 8 directions, one sema on Doi Phra That, and many of bronze Bhuddha images in Chiang Saen, together with some old, desserted temples.
