Located 60 kilometres north of the provincial city along the highway no. 101 (Phrae-Rong Kwang). At 78 kilometre, turn left for 4 kilometres and you will reach Huay Rong water fall, a two-tiered waterfall surround by the forest shade.

After the geographical and scenic development, Namtok Huai Rong, located in Huai Rong Arboretum, becomes an another attract for Phrae local as a relaxing refuge at the weekend. The waterfall has two tiers with the total height around 15 metres, located in the middle of virgin forest where 80-120 types of floras flourish. The stream from the waterfall also flows through the arboretum, complimenting its scenic beauty. However, during summer, Huai Rong will be dry and out of water. Thus, the arboretum office has developed an irrigation system for Huai Rong to be filled with water all year round.
