Located at Mu 5, Lilet subdistrict, this community lies among a lowland delta plateau where numerous rivers, streams and waterways meet and mingle. Sections of the community lie right on the coast, while further inland are mangrove forests with thriving, abundant ecosystems. The main occupations of the villagers here are fishing, planting and harvesting coconuts and shrimp farming. At present there are many activities on offer for visitors and tourists can often see colonies of fireflies in the trees during the dusk hours. There’s also the chance to peruse and purchase locally produced goods like woven baskets, sweets and shrimp paste. The community includes homestay accommodation and excursions are available for those interested.
