To experience the way of life of two ethnic groups; Tai Yai and Karen, to admire the sea of mist in the morning, to pay homage to the Buddha image in Myanmar mixed with Tai Yai style, to learn about the new theory agriculture, and to buy OTOP products.
Ban Pa Pu was promoted from Mae Hong Son Community Development Office to be Tourism Community of Mae Hong Son province. There are many interesting tourism activities such as to experience and learn about the way of life of Tai Yai and Karen which are two ethnic groups living in the north of Thailand, to admire the sea of mist in the morning, to pay homage to the right side of Buddha Footprint, to visit Wat Pa Pu; built in Tai Yai style and decorated with Pan Soi (perforated galvanized iron sheet or aluminum sheet), to look around Ban Tai Yai Museum and homestay, to learn about the new theory agriculture at Kao Pua Suk Bridge, to see traditional performance, and to buy souvenirs and OTOP products such as long neck Karen doll made by Ban Pa Pu Folk Craft Group, natural dye hand woven cotton from Takeeya Hand Weaving Fabric Group, and roast tiger peanuts grown in the organic farm.
