To celebrate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother's 90th birthday and her lifetime contribution to the restoration and preservation of Thai arts and crafts, the Queen Sirikit Institute and the Tourism Authority of Thailand are now offering the "Miracle of the Arts of the Kingdom" fair at the Arts of the Kingdom museum in Bang Pa-In, Ayutthaya throughout the month of August. Thai royal and ancient artisan masterpieces will be showcased along with many other exquisite forms of traditional performances and Thai royal culinary delights. The exhibition will be open during the weekends of August 12-14, 20-21, and 27-28. 

This special exhibition is a part of TAT’s Thai Royal & Local Experience tourism through the exquisite collections of ancient Thai craftsmanship and techniques. These collections reflect Her Majesty Queen Sirikit's lifetime efforts and patronage that helped reinstitute the heirloom ancient Thai traditional artisan knowledge from one generation to the next. 

The exquisite Thai craftsmanship and art come in many formats, including the performances of Khon, puppets, martial arts, and crafts. Also uniquely Thai are the intricate arts of damascening, niello work, inlaying, embroidery, Yan Lipao basketry, Praewa brocade silks, and much more. Also on display at this fair will be various crafty DIY stations, royal culinary delights, and live performances from Thai artists. 

The "Miracle of the Arts of the Kingdom" will be held at the Arts of the Kingdom museum in Bang Pa-In, Ayutthaya during the weekends of August 12-14, 20-21, and 27-28. Free entrance for all will be available on August 12. Guided tours by the Arts of the Kingdom’s experts will be available three times a day at 10:30, 13:30, and 14:30. Free shuttle buses will also be available from Wat Phra Kaew and TAT Head Office to the exhibition and from Central Ayutthaya to the exhibition.
