Paramin Bridge
Located in Ban Dara, Phichai District, Paramin Bridge was constructed during the reign of King Rama V in 1906. It was the largest railway bridge on the northern railway line, crossing the Nan River near Ban Dara Junction Station. King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) officially inaugurated the bridge on December 7, 1909, and bestowed the name Paramin Bridge.
During World War II (1942–1945), Thailand experienced aerial bombings, which severely damaged the bridge. After the war, it was rebuilt as a steel bridge, completed in 1953. The area beneath the bridge was later transformed into a riverside public park, offering a relaxing space for residents and visitors.

Wat Tha Thanon
Located along the Nan River on Kasemrat Road in Tha It Subdistrict, Mueang Uttaradit District, Wat Tha Thanon sits directly opposite the Uttaradit Railway Station. It is home to Luang Pho Phet, a revered Buddha statue cherished by the people of Uttaradit. This bronze Buddha image, dating back to the Chiang Saen period, is depicted in the diamond posture and is known for its exquisite features.

Wat Ban Kaeng Tai
Located in Ban Kaeng Subdistrict, Tron District, this historic temple is approximately 300 years old. Originally, it stood in the middle of the Nan River, but due to strong currents eroding the riverbank, it was relocated to its current site.
Interestingly, this temple once served as a training ground for Phraya Phichai, the renowned warrior, during his childhood. It is also home to Luang Pho Phet, a seated Buddha image in the diamond posture, measuring 3.80 meters wide and 4.50 meters tall.
Over time, the temple’s ordination hall, built around 60 years ago, began to deteriorate, leading to restoration efforts for the principal Buddha statue, Luang Pho Phet. During renovations, artisans from Phichit Province discovered a hidden Buddha head inside the statue's chest as layers of plaster fell away. Locals began referring to it as Phra Ok Taek ("the Buddha with a broken chest"), though later, some proposed the name Phra Phuttha Son.
