1. Who should use the Travel Suppliers features on www.TourismThailand.org?

If you are a qualifying travel related business or travel service provider, such as a hotel, specialist travel company, attraction, restaurant or travel agency, either inside or outside of Thailand, you may list your business, tour, etc. on www.tourismthailand.org for free. Those promoting events in Thailand are also welcome to list their event on the website free of charge.

2. What are the benefits of being listed on www.TourismThailand.org?

As a registered member on www.TourismThailand.org you will have free, unlimited access to offer products and services to visitors to Thailand, including the ability to submit business listings, events, package deals, news and more.

3. How can I join?

To join, register your business with www.TourismThailand.org by providing information about your business, then activate your account and complete the profile of your business (e.g. accommodation, attraction, tour, news or event) with detailed information.

4. What type of business can I add?

You may add businesses that fit the following categories: accommodation, tourist attraction, restaurant/bar/cafe, shopping venue, transportation service, tour operator or travel agency, and event organizer.

5. Do I have to pay for getting listed on the website?

No; this service is for free, as the TAT would like to help promote Thailand travel products and travel suppliers.

6. How do I list my business on the site?

After filling out your registration form you may begin the process of listing your travel related business, including selecting the category that most nearly matches your product or service, and providing contact details, location/transportation information, and a photo or company logo.

7. Am I able to list more than one business in one account?

Yes, once you have a registered account you can submit multiple businesses, products, services, or events. There is no need to register more than one account for multiple entries.

8. What if my business has more than 1 branch?

You can add more than 1 branch to an existing registration, by clicking

9. Which language should my business be listed in?

There is multiple language support for listings on www.tourismthailand.org. Your language you use for your main entry should depend on which language your primary clientele prefers. After completing your original profile for that business/event you can add additional languages and will be prompted to do so.

10. Am I able to add more than 1 language?

Yes, you can expand your listing for additional languages. You will see available languages for language support on the home page by clicking www.TourismThailand.org . To add more languages, please locate the icon to "Duplicate for new language" on your business summary, where you may then select the additional languages you wish to list your business with.

11. How long will it take to get my business listed or my content published?

After submitting your business, event, or other information, it should only take several business days before it is approved and appears on the website.

12. After my information is listed, will I be able to edit my company details or any approved content?

Yes, any time you log in to your account you will be able to edit your uploaded content.

13. After editing my approved content, do I have to wait for approval again?

Yes, it should take 3-5 business days for any new or edited content to be verified and published.

14. Will I be notified once my content is approved?

a. Yes. A notification email will be sent regarding all new and edited content that has been approved and uploaded.

15. Why was my business not approved? How is this possible? What should I do?

16. My business directory was already listed on www.TourismThailand.org; can I simply edit my data for the new website without registering as a new business?

Even if your business is already listed on www.TourismThailand.org without having registered before, should you wish to edit it you must first register, select

17. Why should I add a travel deal?

Listing on TourismThailand.org allows you to promote your travel deals and create sales opportunities through the site

18. How many travel deals can I add?

You can add an unlimited number of travel deals to your account.

19. How can customers make reservations for my travel deals?

Customers can complete an online form on www.TourismThailand.org and the inquiries will be sent directly to you via the email that you registered with TourismThailand.org.

20. Can I extend the validity of my uploaded travel deals?

Yes, you just need to log into your account and go to your travel deals and click edit.

21. What if my travel deals are only targeted towards a specific market?

You can select a specific market or markets that you would like to promote your travel deals in.

22. Can I add multiple prices, currencies and validities for my deals that are tailored to different markets?

Yes, you can customize your travel deals for each market by adding different prices, currencies, and validities.

23. Am I able to list my travel deal in more than one language?

Yes. You can list your travel deal in as many languages as are available on TourismThailand.org. You will see available languages for language support on the home page by clicking www.TourismThailand.org . To add more languages, please locate the icon to "Duplicate for new language" on your business summary, where you may then select the additional languages you wish to list your travel deal with.

24. Can I customize reservation / contact details for each deal and each market?

Yes. You can have different contact information for your different branches or offices that offer travel deals in various markets and can do so with relevant language support.

25. Why should I add an event?

To promote your event/activity and to update your customers and prospective customers about any up to date information about your event.

26. What kind of event should I add?

You can classify your event using the categories listed on our website, selecting the one that most closely matches your event/activity, including but not limited to Music & Concert, Food & Drink, and Art & Culture.

27. How many events can I add?

You can add an unlimited number of events to your account.

28. Am I able to list my event in more than one language?

Yes. You can list your event in as many languages as are available on TourismThailand.org. You will see available languages for language support on the home page by clicking www.TourismThailand.org . To add more languages, please locate the icon to "Duplicate for new language" on your business summary, where you may then select the additional languages you wish to list your event with.

29. How can customers contact my company?

There are two ways that customers can contact you: First, customer can see the contact information that you provided to TourismThailand.org and they may contact you directly. Second, customers can submit their inquiry through one of the inquiry forms on TourismThailand.org which will be subsequently be sent to your registered email.

30. Do I have to reply to TAT or should I just reply directly to the clients?

You should reply directly to the customer. Even if they contacted you through one of our submission forms, the TAT will have also sent them an email confirming that their request was forwarded onto you and that you would respond to them in due time (typically 1-2 business days).

31. Will the TAT be responsible for complaints by travelers?

TourismThailand.org will not respond to emails regarding travel bookings or questions posed by registered members concerning their bookings or complaints with various travel service or product providers. Such complaints should be directed at or will be forwarded to you, the service or product provider.
