Lush teak forest makes Phrae rich of teak architecture. Take a stroll in the town and you will come across a number of teak residence with huge stilts. The elegant residence of Ban Wong Buri is a nice example of teak heritage here while the local museum of Ban Thep showcases of the teak logging and interesting folk life of Phrae.
