Situated in the easternmost corner of the country, Ubon Ratchathani is blessed with natural rich. The province houses a number of luscious forests, hence a number of streams and falls you can enjoy among wilderness.

The clean stream of Lam Dome Noi is among the nice water havens in Ubon Ratchathani. Feb by the adjacent reservoir of Siridhorn Dam, the 6-miles-long stream is very still in the morning and runs fast in the evening when the dam opens the water gate. For those who want to hideout, spend an easy day to dip in crystal clear water swim, kayak, or laze on the raft can be an excellent idea.

Crystal clear steam runs through untouched lush forest. The water is so inviting that visitors can hardly resist and dive into it in the first minute of their arrivals.

But for those who want to see how locals enjoy holiday, Pattaya Noi can be a good choice. On the hot days, the beach by the reservoir of Sirindhorn Dam turns into a water park where people enjoy their holidays.

Khong Chiam District of Ubon Ratchathani has abundance of forest, which houses a number of falls, too. Among them, Saeng Chan Falls in Pha Taem National Park is a unique one. It is the one and only place in Thailand where the stream of water runs down from a hole on the cavern's roof.

The park also houses Soi Sawan Falls. Two streams meet in the middle of the cliff before plunging down into the Mekong River. 

If these easy waters are not enough, exploring the mighty Mekong River may a better idea. The natural border dividing Thailand and Laos, the gigantic Mekong River has a lot of stunning beaches and canyons.

Spend a day to explore Ubon Ratchathani’s water havens, you will be amazed how abundance it is.
