Viva Foresta Farm: a vivid farm getaway

If your family is fond of animals, Viva Foresta Farm is the place to be. The new landmark of Chanthaburi adds color to your weekend trip with a cute windmill, landscaped garden, bright flowerbeds, and arrays of adorable animals from various countries such as sika deer, sun conure, Vietnamese pot-bellied pig, etc.

The kids can freely roam the grassland and learn more about these lovely animals, feeding piglets and sheep, or hugging the fluffy Silkie chicken. Holding the hedgehog and white Angora Goat babies or riding the dwarf horse will be a brandnew experience they hardly get where else.

Sculptures and different settings scattering the farm give a great photo opportunity as well.

The farm is not too far from Khao Khitchakut, the holy mountain which houses a Buddha footprint. Annually, a large number of worshippers climb the towering mountain to pay homage to the footprint situated at the peak. According to religious belief, the pilgrimage is an ultimate way to perform good deeds. From the windy summit, you would be easily stunned by the vast landscape of Chanthaburi province.

The Khao Khitchakut National Park covers a lush forest nourished by refreshing streams. There are three dazzling falls namely Klong Chang Se, Kra-ting and Klong Kra-sue in the middle of the scenic landscape.

Return to nature and allow Chanthaburi to soothe your soul.

How to get there: Viva Foresta Farm is in Na Yai Am District of Chanthaburi, 134 miles southeast of Bangkok via highway 7 and 344.
