Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World (the old Siam Ocean World), Bangkok

Home to over 3,000 species of marine life, this aquatic wonderland can be a good choice for the family’s weekend. With the size of three Olympic swimming pools combined, Bangkok’s Sea Life Ocean World is split into seven sections. At the Open Ocean section, the glass tunnel underneath the tank allows you to walk beneath swimming predators such as ragged-tooth sharks, black-tipped sharks and stingrays. At the Stroll on the Shark Walk, there is only an acrylic sheet that separates you from the 5 types of sharks beneath. 

Adventurous visitors can also get a dip in the Open Ocean section and swim among sharks and other creatures or enjoy a ride on a glass-bottomed boat and watch the ocean creatures swim underneath.

Underwater World Pattaya

Taking a stroll into the deep water with soft music is a rare experience you can have at an aquarium, but the Underwater World Pattaya does offer such a serene atmosphere. Kids will be delighted while walking through the acrylic tunnel under the tank. The Shark and Ray Zone features an array of predator species as well as the gigantic Giant Grouper. The Ship Wreck Zone has a wide range of freshwater fishes namely Giant Cat Fish, Clown Featherback, and Giant Gourami.

Chiang Mai Zoo Aquarium

The aquarium feature two huge tanks for freshwater fishes and marine life. The primary enclosures are joined together by a 436-feet long tunnel which allows visitors to observe these exotic aquatic species. There are over 250 species and 25,000 fish housed at the aquarium. The freshwater tank seems more amazing with a big school of Giant Cat Fishes and massive arapaimas. There are many fun scheduled activities including Shark and Ray Feeding Show, Koi Feeding Show, Nozzle Stingray Feeding Activity.
