Seafood Experience in the city of nightlife

Vibrant and exciting nightlife of Pattaya simply make you exhausted. Fill up your stomach with delicious seafood is quite a nice remedy. The calmer area of North Pattaya houses a number of seafood restaurants around the corner. Most of the best seafood restaurants have fish tank in the front, showing the freshness of their ingredients and allow you to choose your main course as well.

Among the wide selection, Je Juk, near Tesco Lotus North Pattaya, has long been among very first choices with long reputation. Though its atmosphere, service and location is not outstanding, its deliciousness and value-for-money are the main magnet. It serves standard Thai dish with seafood such as seafood platter, chili paste, seafood Tom Yam.

Shell Tankay Seafood is another place with great taste. Situated in Naklua Soi 12, right at the pier, the restaurant offers great view of the sea and local fishing boats lingering around. It serves good tasty seafood. The signature dishes here include grilled sea bass, fresh oysters, fried shrimp with garlic, stir fired shrimp with chili.

Pla Thong Seafood is also well known for locals. Though it is in a shop house and not air-coned, its seafood tastes quite good. Its recommended dishes include stir fried squid with salten egg, seafood tom yam, seafood fried rice.

More Ma Seafood, on Sukhumvit-Pattaya 14, is another good place for seafood though its atmosphere is not nice. However, its price is lower and the service is faster than those famous restaurants. The fish cake, deep fried grouper, fish curry and other local dish come with full flavors.

How to get there: North Pattaya is about a hundred miles from Bangkok, via highway 7.
