Busy Road and Adrenaline Rush

Hop behind the wheel of a go-kart, let the engine rumbles, you may feel like you are a race-car driver.

If you find Bangkok’s road is not exciting enough and want some real race, Go-Kart may be the safer answer.

The small and open-wheel car will give you a unique experience when your seat is just a couple of inches from the race track surface. Although your go-kart may run not over than 55kmph, you will feel its speed. Your adrenaline will pump up if you happen to race with someone you may or may not know in the circuit. It is the experience that you can’t find in your daily live.

The karts have only go and stop pedals so it is easy to control your vehicle even when you have to make a sharp turn. If travelling with kids, you can drive in a separate kart along with your children, but they must be at least seven years old.

Venues for the race activities to quicken the pulse can be found in Bangkok. One of popular tracks is Easy Kart (https://easykart.net or call 02-203-1205 Ext 24). Located on the second floor of RCA Plaza on Rama IX Road, the indoor track is open daily from 1pm to midnight.

Motor Sports Land (www.motorsportsland.net or 081-561-5508 and 090-930-3737) is located on Phahon Yothin Road (between Soi 22-24) in Chatuchak. It is open from 1pm to 9pm during weekdays and 10am to 9pm during weekend.

IMPACT Speed Park (www.impactspeedpark.com or call 02-055-8900) is an outdoor circuit located on Popular Road in Muang Thong Thani. It is open daily from 4pm to midnight during weekdays and noon to midnight during weekends.

The theme park DreamWorld (www.dreamworld.co.th or call 02-577-8666) in Rangsit Khlong 3 also has the go-kart facility. It is open daily from 10am to 7pm.
