Phra Pradaeng Songkran Festival, or previously called “Pal Lad Songkran), represent Rmen-Thai culture that has been inherited from the past. Its uniqueness is the grade and magnificent parade of Miss Songkran, flowers parade, the customary parade of Raman Women-Loi Chai Men which preserves the tradition firmly, as well as Thai-Raman and Loi Chai costume, to march birds and fishes to release at the Wat Prodket Chettaram which is considered to prolong the lifespan. After the ceremony, along the way home, men from villages splash water to women politely. People in Phra Pradaeng preserve this tradition strictly until today.
