Mu 2 Ban Na Sai, Tambon Wang Ban, Amphoe lom Kao, Phetchabbun
Another of Phetchabun’s many important historic temples, Wat Si Mongkhon or Wat Na Sai is particularly noteworthy for mural paintings inside the ordination hall. The paintings depict Jataka stories, tales of heaven and hell, as well as the more earthly lifestyles of locals, such as the junk trade.
Wat Si Mongkhon is located at Mu 2 Ban Na Sai, Tambon Wang Ban, Amphoe lom Kao, Phetchabbun. To get there, take the Lom Kao – Wang Ban Route for 3 kilometers from Amphoe Lom Kao. There will be a one-kilometer path into Na Sai village.
The temple is open from 6.00 am-5.00 pm daily.
