The WatPoramaiyikawatMuseum  displays a multitude of interesting  items  such as  votive  tablets, crystal ware and porcelains, including unique Mon artwork. One coffin, a “Hem”, was inspired possibly by the coffin of the Lord Buddha. The Hem coffin is used for monks and contains remains like a regular coffin, but has a window for viewing and paying respect to the remains.

The museum is open on weekdays from 1.00 pm-4.00 pm, and on weekends from 9.00 am-4.30 pm. For more information, please call 0 2584 5120.
