As an island in neighboring Myanmar, Koh Song offers visitors a variety of local products, souvenirs such as wicker basketry, lacquer ware and gems. Visitors must do visa document before crossing to the island. It’s a destination for those who love to touch the daily life of Burmese who life by the sea.

To get there: The boat ride to Victoria Point takes about 15 minutes crossing Kraburi River and costs between 200 and 300 baht.

Public Boat Trasportation is available at Ranong Pier for 50 THB for local residents and 100 THB for foreigners. For charters the boat will cost 500 -6oo THB and can hold up to 9 passengers. Each trip takes 40 minutes. As mentioned, 7 day passes will have to be arranged before hand, please bring along 2 copies of the Thai National ID Card or Drivers License and 3 One Inch photographs. The fee is 30 THB for Thai citizens and 20 USD for foreigners. The Office is open daily from 07:00 until 16:00.
