Attraction Details


Located on Nang Ngam Road, Songkhla’s City Pillar was constructed during the same time the city was built which makes it highly revered by the locals until presents. This area of the city contains distinctly Chinese characteristics that are shown through architectural style of the pillar itself and the Chinese-style building nearby on Nakorn Nai and Nakorn Nok Roads, in which, resulted from the Chinese immigrants that flooded and settled into the city during the beginning of the 24th Buddhist Century which later became the major role in the establishment of Songkhla.
