Known for its Chedi (pagoda) that enshrines the holy relics of Lord Buddha, Phra That Maha Chai is also home to Thailand’s largest wooden Buddha image carved from local Sadao tree. The hall of the temple also exhibits rare murals depicting the life of Lord Buddha, one of the rarest murals of the Northeast. The temple and its chedi is regarded the chedi of people who were born on Wednesday, whose most lucks can be prayed here.

Getting there: The temple is located at Wat Khaosadaram, Tambon Maha Chai Highway No.22.
