Attraction Details

This waterfall is in Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Reserve, one of the area’s prettier tourist attractions. Namtok Hin Lat is situated amidst the flora of the Huai Kha Khaeng forest. This multi-layered waterfall is formed by water from Huai Loi Choi, which flows from a high mountain in Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary. The waterfall at the higher level is called Namtok Loi Choi. In some parts, the water tumbles over a large rock, so it is called Namtok Hin Lat (or “flat rock”). Beneath the waterfall is the Cyber Forest Protection Unit.

To get there, from Uthai Thani, take the Uthai Thani-Nong Chang-Ban Rai road for about 79 kilometers. From Amphoe Ban Rai, take Highway No. 3282 to Cyber village in Tambon Khok Khwai for another 30 kilometers. A sign points to the waterfall, then turn right there for seven kilometers. Please note that the route into the waterfall is a rough laterite road. It is unsuitable for small cars and sedans; four wheel-drive vehicles are recommended.

Visiting hours are 9.00 am-5.00 pm. The waterfall is near Ban Sap Mae Bue, Tambon Khok Khwai, Amphoe Huai Khot, Uthai Thani. For more information, call 0 2561 4292-3 ext. 765
