Built in 1974 with its primary goal for irrigation, Lam Takhong dam is a water reservoir located on Tambon Lat Bua Khao, or 62 kilometers away from the city. The place is suitable for winter relaxation. Famous for its beautiful scenery, visitors are allowed to walk on the dam to enjoy the view of the reservoir with the fantastic background of mountains.

Getting there:To visit the site, take the highway No.2 (Nakhon Ratchasima-Saraburi) through 193 and 194 kilometer markers and drive along for 2 kilometers.
It is 62 kilometers far from Koraj city. To travel here, visitors can drive a car from Pakchong district using route 2 to Koraj. Around 184th-193rd kilometers the dam will be in sight. Or, take a hired pickup truck from Sikiw city for about 200 Baht.
