Located at Mu 4, Tambon Khu Khut 55 kilometers away from Songkla on Highway 4083 and another three kilometers from the Highway, Khu Khut Waterfowl Park firstly established as a non-hunting area on 19 April 1976. The park is a part of Thala sap Songkhla or Songkhla Lake where its 227,916 rai (91,166 acres) covers the area in both Songkhla and Phatthalung provinces. The survey was done by the Royal Forestry Department and discovered 44 families, 137 genera, and 219 species of birds. The best period for bird-watching starts in December and run through March.
