Attraction Details

Laem Luang beach can be allegorized as the first sand of Thailand’s southern beach as its small cape marks the beginning of the beach of the southern province. Situates lower than Hat Chao Samran for 5 kilometers, Laem Luang is on the estuary of a canal in Laem Pak Bia district where there is the large area of mangroves forest. You can take a boat ride to visit the tip of the cape at the end of the canal. There, you will find the white sandy beach stretches for 2 kilometers. It’s also a popular place for bird lovers to watch various types of seabirds. You can also surf out of the shore to catch some glimpse of Bryde's Whales that migrate here during winter season. For those who enjoy the sunlight, it’s the only beach where you can see the sunrise and sunset at the same place.
