Fruit Orchard of Si Sa Ket -

Amphoe Kantharalak, Si Sa Ket

Attraction Details

A 20-kilometer long asphalt-and-dirt road cuts through major fruit-growing villages, such as Ban Thung Yai, Ban Thung Sawang, Ban Rong Ta Chun, Ban Cham Muang, and Ban Nong Kao. Their main crops include the red-and-green hairy rambutan, the fragrant durian, sweet-and-sour mangosteen, and rubber. Every June, the fruits are harvested and put on sale, and visitors can buy fresh fruit directly from the orchards.

The most noteworthy orchards include the rambutan plantations of Ban Cham Muang, the durian plantations of Ban Sam Khi Lek,  and the parkia and year-round mango orchards at Ban Nong Kao.

The orchards are located on the right of Highway No. 226 (Kantharalak – Pha Mo I – Daeng), approximately 5 kilometers from Amphoe Kantharalak.
