Attraction Details

Located on LakMueang Road, the Phetchabun City Pillar Shrine lies in the center of MueangPhetchabun, the main town in Phetchabun. It is made of stone brought in by HRH DamrongRajanubhab from the ancient town of Mueang Si Thep in 1904. The city pillar reflects the design renowned in Mueang Si Thep, which reflects a mix of Dvaravati and Khmer styles. The city pillar is believed to have been constructed between the 6th and the 13th century and is considered the oldest city pillar in the Kingdom.

The shrine is open daily from 6.00 am-8.00 pm.
