Kaeng Krachan (3 days / 2 nights) A remarkable and unexpected recent discovery of a population of the Ratchet-tailed Treepie, previously known present only in northern Vietnam, Laos and southern China, by Pinit Saengkaew and other members of the Bird Conservation Society of Thailand makes Kaeng Krachan a most exciting birding site in Thailand.

Day by Day Itinerary :

Date 1 : Bangkok - Kaeng Krachan National Park

The trips begin when we leave Bangkok in the morning. We will drive up into the dense forest and have a full day birding.

Overnight : Resort near the park
Meal : L/D

Date 2 : Kaeng Krachan National Park - Kaeng Krachan National Park

We will spend another full day in the forest to search for the remarkable Ratchet-tailed Treepie.

Overnight : Resort near the park
Meal : B/L/D

Date 3 : Kaeng Krachan National Park - Bangkok

Another half day searching for the missing birds before leaving Kaeng Krachan in the afternoon for Bangkok and transfer to your hotel where the trip concludes.
