Amphawa Bike Ride: Hidden Thailand Paradise

“Appreciate Thai Art and Local Life among the Greenery River and Canal in places hidden from tourists.”
This cycling tour put you in close touch with peaceful and simple life of planters in places hardly visited by tourists. Ride in agricultural areas of Amphoe Amphawa and Bang Khonthi in Samut Songkhram, the smallest province of Thailand sites between the Mea Klong River and the Gulf of Thailand Coast that have a long been recognized as the “green ring” surrounding the Bangkok capital where famous fruits such as pomelo, mangoes, grape, guava, jackfruit, rose apple coconut, banana, and lychee are grown in the areas crisscrossed by water channels making their way to the Mae Klong River, the main waterway of the province.
This cycling route bring you through small backstreets, alleys, temples, schools, typical style of Thai houses, coconut plantations, lush green tropical fruits orchards and gardener villages so you will discover real local Thais life. No modern-day western life, people living from the products on their lands with typical style of Thailand smiles.
After morning cycling trip you will get experience with local Thai lunch at riverside restaurant sites among an oasis of green landscape scattered by fruit plantations and typical Thai style houses. Taste many kinds of Amphawa food recipes made from coconuts, lotus and fresh water fishes of the Mae Klong River cooked with Thai herbs. After lunch continue our trip by cruising along the Mae Klong River. The cruise route are delightful with the peaceful river, gentle breezes, and lush green banks adorned with tropical fruits interspersed with fine old typical Thai houses and temples that mixed with a background of frolicking children are swimming in front of waterfront pavilion and the elderly take theirs afternoon rest inside.

We provides good quality imported of 24 gear bicycle with front suspension that fixed for your height from bicycle frame size 13” till size 20” including helmets (medium and large size) and bicycle water bottles.
A support air-con van or 4WD truck with Thule roof rack and two-way radio accompanies group during riding to carry supplies, bicycle tools & spare parts, first aid kits, drinking water, snacks and provide a welcome break when your have had enough peddling for the day.

Day by Day Itinerary :
Date 1 : Bangkok - Samut Songkram – Ratchaburi – Bangkok
Bangkok – Samut Songkram – Ratchaburi – Bangkok
(Ride 20 - 30 km)
7.00 a.m. Leave Bangkok by air-con van to Samut Songkram Province. Begin ride on village road past tropical fruit orchards, coconut plantations, temples and agricultural villages to the “Damnoern Saduak Floating Market”. Here! We will get an experience of a traditional market life style where traders meets on the narrow “klongs” to trade products and wares by sampan boat before continue biking to a riverside restaurant on the Mae Klong River. After lunch take a boat trip along the river to know more about former Thai Life in the past at the “King Rama Park II” (artist King of Bangkok Period in 1809-1824). At this park you will understand more about an architect of typical style of Thai teak house OR “Reau Thai” including wisdom of local Thais in Thai Flowers planting. During travel by boat we stop en route to visit a magnificent fantastic wood craving Buddhist temple Hall of “Wat Bang Kae”. Arrive in Bangkok at about 17.30 p.m.
