Every large city, and even some smaller ones, has fascinating museums; while history buffs will want to head towards Ayuttaya, and continue on to Sukhothai and Chiang Mai. Those interested more in natural history will love the Lotus Museum in Pathum Thani and Phuket’s amazing Sea Shell Museum.
Not to be missed are the various training centers: for meditation, massage, medicine, muay Thai (Thai boxing), and even for monkeys, at the Monkey School in Surat Thani.
