Pattaya, a short two-hour drive from Bangkok, is a wonderful destination for family vacationers, as it has it all in one place.The biggest problem most people have with Pattaya is time; there’s so much to do and so many things to see, and only so many days to do it in.So best to bear this in mind when visiting Thailand’s favorite beach getaway.

If Dad’s a golfer, chances are he’ll need some time on the links, while the family goes exploring all those wild and exotic things you may have been expecting – or hoping – to see in Thailand: tigers, crocodiles, albino bears, snakes, ostriches, and other wildlife you won’t readily find at home.

All this and we haven’t even been to the beach yet!  Snorkeling, sailing, diving, and daytrips to nearby islands are popular activities.And for your finicky 5-year-old, Pattaya has everything from your particular brand of international cuisine to their favorite fast food chain.
