Cycling

Thailand’s diverse terrain, excellent roads, and warm hospitality make it a top destination for cyclists. Both those cycling on their own or those traveling with one of Thailand’s many cycling tour operators, cyclists have many options to choose from.

While mountain biking is popular in the north, its more ideal for cross country cycling in the central plains, plateau of eastern Thailand, and the southern coast. Tours often incorporate visits at historical attractions like the ruins of Sukhothai and Ayutthaya as well as the country’s many national parks. The Tour de Thailand and the Tour de Issan are annual Thailand cycling adventures (rather than races) and include riders of all abilities and ages.

Even in and around smaller towns, bicycle rentals allow visitors an eco-friendly way to explore local temples and other attractions.

It should be noted that biking in Thailand can be challenging because of extreme heat and seasonal monsoons. The best season for biking in Thailand is the cool season: November through February.

Pristine beaches of Coral Islands
Fantastic, thats what I can describe the Coral Islands. Believe!!Gods themselves may came down to earth to have a great time in the white sand beaches present here. Really good place to hang out and the beaches here may be comparable with the best available in the world to the likes of Hawaii, Havelock (Andamans, India), Kovalam (Kerala, India)etc. On the way to coral island from Pattaya, there are ample opportunities for water sports like para sailing (350 baht), deep sea walking (1200 baht) etc. But one annoying thing during my entire time at Thailand is the high cost of everything and it seems Thailand Govt is giving a free hand to the hospitality sector in fleecing the tourists.
