Don't let a tuktuk driver bring you to 'authorised' travel agencies like Unseen Travel and so on... They will charge too much for tours and packages. It isn't hard to arrange it yourself, so don't waste your money on the...

Occasionally a Thai taxi will attempt to charge you a fixed rate and it may be difficult for you to know if it is a reasonable price; it is recommended that you use a metered taxi whenever possible.

While they are readily available, illegal drugs should not be purchased or consumed on Koh Phangan. Taking drugs in Thailand is both dangerous and illegal.
