 Thai Wedding Ceremony Package
Thai Baht 109,999 net


 7.00 AM         Ceremony begins with 9 monks chanting prayers to bless the couple as
                      they are joined in holy matrimony. The couple will then offer food and
                      traditional accessories to the 9 monks to thank them for blessing their union.

 8:00 AM        The Bride’s family set up house at one of our Thai houses.
                      Coffee and tea is served.

 9:00 AM         The Groom and his family and entourage prepare to descend on the
                       bride’s house. The groom will ride atop an elephant while family and
                       friends form a procession, singing and marching to the bride’s house.
                               
                       On arrival, the groom gains entry to the bride’s house by passing
                       through gold and silver chains that block his path into the house. His
                       family makes a show of bargaining for his entrance with token gifts of
                       silver and gold and other precious gifts.

                       On striking a deal and gaining entrance, elders and relatives proceed
                       the groom into the house, bearing dowry of gold, silver, money, betel
                       nuts, white linen, fruits and sweetmeats, each signifying specifics that
                       will help their couple have a happy and fruitful marriage.

                       “Lang Nam Sang” is the heart of the wedding ceremony, where the
                        bride and groom say their prayers together as a married couple for the
                        first time. A white chord with loops at both ends is placed over their
                        heads to signify the joining of two people. An oldThe Ceremony er couple anoints
                        their foreheads with scented balm. Then the newlyweds receive 
                        blessings and words of wisdom from elders, relatives and friends who
                        come to pour holy water on their hands and to give their blessing on the union.

 12:00 Noon      A buffet lunch for all.



  v     A Marriage License can only be issued at the couple’s respective embassies.
       
The Ceremony is not legally binding.

1.      The use of a Thai House set up as the bride’s house for the ceremony for the day.

Breakfast for 9 monks at 7:00 AM

Coffee & tea for 30 guests at 8:00 AM

Indoor venue for buffet lunch.

Buffet lunch for 30 guests excluding drinks.
6.     
Specific accessories for ceremony and wedding garlands for bride and groom.
7.     
Four corsages for parents or VIPs.
8.      One night’s accommodation in a superior room for the wedding couple.
