Bangkok - Dusit Thani Bangkok, a distinguished flagship hotel under Dusit International, was selected as the official host hotel for the Formula One Red Bull Racing team who promoted the “Street King” event held in Bangkok on 17 December 2010.
The event, the first of its kind held in Thailand to showcase their success in Formula One, was an opportunity for the public of Thailand to welcome home the victorious Thai owned Red Bull Racing team as the newly crowned Formula One World and Constructors Champions for 2010.
Dusit Thani Bangkok also opened its doors to welcome Australian Mark Webber, Red Bull Racing‟s successful F1 Driver and in addition to hosting the team also be held a dinner event for dignitaries, VIP‟s and invitees in their Benjarong Royal Thai Restaurant.

This year, Dusit Thani Bangkok is celebrating our 40th year of operation and continues to be a landmark and icon of the Bangkok skyline and we feel this is a fitting association and way in which to celebrate the success of all things Thai,” said Mr Danny McCafferty, General Manager of Dusit Thani Bangkok.
Mark Webber was in Bangkok to join the “Rajdamnoern Red Bull Bangkok 2010” show run, held on 18 December at the historic Rajdamnoern Road to celebrate the Thai F1 victory. The event was organised by Chalerm Yoovidhya, president of Red Bull UK, and Saravoot Yoovidhya, Managing Director of Red Bull Beverage Co., Ltd.; in cooperation with the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority, led by Bangkok Governor MR. Sukhumbhand Baripat and partner brand Thai Singha Corporation.
His visit gave Thai F1 fans a chance to rub an F1 champion as well as see live F1 action in their own backyard. The Red Bull Drift Team Thailand led by Ki Ki Sak Nana, joined in celebrating the victory of the world champion Red Bull Racing Team.
The Red Bull F1 team was also supported by Singha Corporation, PTT, Kasikorn Bank, Thai Airways, Central Department Store Co., Ltd., Central Pattana, Dusit Thani Bangkok, and Thaiyarnyon Co., Ltd.
