Bangkok – Dusit International, one of Asia’s leading hotel groups, together with all hotels and resorts in Thailand as well as the Philippines donate THB 460,000 (USD 15,000) to help Japanese residents who have been affected by the earthquake and tsunami. The monetary donations raised were recently presented to Mr Torajiro Ohashi (left) President of Japanese Association in Thailand, by Mr Noppon Sowanna (right), Corporate Director of Human Resources Operations, Dusit International.

Under ‘Japan & Dusit -  Friends Forever’ appeal, throughout the month of April 2011 Dusit’s staff and guests were encouraged to make a donation through fund-raising activities including Guest Donation Envelopes placed in all guest rooms and dining venues, as well as the request on check-in of THB 100 donation per night for guests to make a contribution to the appeal.
