Chaweng beach is the most breathtaking combination of long uninterrupted white sandy beaches on the eastern coastline of Ko Samui. Forking out into the sea is a mini-peninsula, in the midst of these stretches of fine sandy coastal expanses, with the main Chaweng Beach to the north and Chaweng Noi Beach to its south. This is well known as the ideal site to watch sunrise over the ocean waves and sunset in the backdrop of the plush tree groves on Ko Samui's main land behind.
