Aside from his social work, he has organized several promotion activities for Thailand including trips to the country among the Danish people. Outstanding Achievements: Mr. Joseph Tung has been a prominent supporter of the public relations of Thailand from 2003 to 2010. He supported the TAT Hong Kong Office in organizing tourism promotional events in Hong Kong and Guangdong, publicized a positive image of Thailand to tourists and the media in Shenzhen, enhanced more flights from Hong Kong to Bangkok, and organized a FAM trip for tour operators and the media to survey the tsunami affected areas and assist the victims. He also supported the Travel Industry Council to allow Hong Kong people to visit Thailand after the political crisis.

In June 2009, he visited Bangkok with TAT and the media for inspection to make Thailand become universal in the tourism industry and gave advice to TAT on how to develop programmes for the handicapped and senior people. She has assisted the TAT Hong Kong Office in coordinating with tourism associations and government agencies to organize tourism promotional events in Macau and Zhuhai, promoted Thailand’s image and tourist activities to tourists in Macau and adjacent areas, as well as quality products like golf and spa for high-end tourists. Outstanding Achievements: Having been living in Thailand during 1997 – 2000 in his Buddhist monkhood, Dr. Seeger has proved his continuously deep relationship with Thailand. After finishing his doctorate coursework on the research of philosophy of thought in Buddhism of Buddhadasa Bhikkhu, the most respected monk, he was a founder of the Thai studies programme for an undergraduate degree at Leeds University, UK in 2004. The programme with scholarships supported by the Royal Thai Embassy in London has taught English students to have profound understanding in Thai language, culture, history, and Buddhism, where those who graduated will have an opportunity to help promote Thailand’s tourism with TAT and the Embassy. Therefore, Dr. Seeger is highly regarded as a tremendous contributor to Thailand in many academic aspects.

Outstanding Achievements: Ms. Mullins Worster has promoted Thailand through her golf-related programmes. As a member of the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA), she has focused on educating the members on Thailand’s travel value. In January, 2010, she led her first group of EWGA members to Thailand, which proved successful and will be followed by a next trip in 2011. A campaign to promote Thailand, Malaysia, and Taiwan as joint golf and cultural destinations was launched with the Southern California PGA Association in March 2010. In April, 2010, she implemented the Amazing Thailand Golf Tournament mixer combining a golf tournament with an educational seminar; the winning team will visit Thailand for a golf and cultural vacation in 2011.
