Thailand wins the prestigious Grand Travel Award in Sweden for “The World’s Best Tourist Country 2011

Once again, the Swedish travel trade has rated Thailand “The World’s Best Tourist Country 2011”.

The Grand Travel Award 2011 was organized by Travel News, an independent Swedish travel trade magazine, held at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm on February 16th.

The Grand Travel award was arranged for the 19th time. The nominees were elected by a travel trade jury, and the voting was done by a random selection of more than 600 travel agents from all over Sweden.
