Transport Options

Bus

Buses to Chiang Mai depart regularly from Kampaeng Phet 2 Northen bus station. Bus will take you on the 10-hour journey from Bangkok can be made on air-conditioned coaches and non-airconditioned uses originating from the Northern Bus

Car Rental

Available near the limousine counter. Tickets are sold at the limousine desk in the passenger hall, 1st floor, opposite the international and domestic arrival lounge.

Train

Air-conditioned trains make the 750 kilometer journey to ChiangMai.The State Railways of Thailand (Tel: 1690 or 0-2223-7020) operates daily services from Bangkok's Hualumphong Railway Station including a popular overnight   sleeper.

Information Service
For any enquiries and assistance, simply approach the airport officers at the Airport Information Counter.  Banking  Service  Currency Exchange counters are opposite the international arrival lounge. Automatic Teller Machines are also available throughout the airport.
Restaurants
On the 2nd floor,  Thai Airways International  restaurant serves Thai and European  food.  In  addition,  snack  bars  are  located  throughout  the terminal.
Emergency  Medical
Service First Aid is located on the 2nd floor.
Service hours are between 08.00 a.m. and 11.00 p.m.
Tour  Service  Reservation
Two counters for hotel reservation can be found in the passenger  hall,  1st floor.

Plane
Thai Airways(Tel:1566 or 0-2280-0060) operates daily flights between Bangkok and Chiang  Mai  and  flights  between  Chiang  Mai and other northern  Thai cities.
Bangkok Airways has two daily flights connecting Chiang Mai with Bangkok. In addition, they have daily flights servicing the Chiang Mai-Sukhothai route.  For more information, contact the Bangkok office at tel. 02-265-5555 or 02-265-5678.

Passengers
can   trace   their  belongings  at  the  Thai  Airways International Counter on the 1st floor and the office of each airline company.For tracking lost belongings please  contact  the airport  information  counter. Left Luggage the counter is located on the 1st floor. Baggage Claim: There are 5 sets of conveyor belts of which 3 sets are in the domestic and international arrival lounge and 2 sets are available for transit/transfer passengers.
