Trip Overview

The central plains of Thailand have always been the cradle of Thai civilization and the power house of the Kingdom since ancient times. On this journey through the historic central region, expect lots of ancient ruins and momentous temples. The trip takes you from Bangkok to the famous ancient capital city of Siam, Ayutthaya, for a journey into this nation's glorious past. Suphanburi and Kanchanaburi offer their own piece of history with the infamous River Kwai Bridge and the World War II Cemetery. The journey ends in Hua Hin, a lovely, quiet get away on the Gulf of Siam with lots of history and post-colonial architecture to admire.
