Tour Overview :

Situated in Khao Sok National Park in Southern Thailand, Tree Tops Jungle Safaris offers a range of exciting back-to-nature tours as well as room-only stays.

Our jungle tours include accommodation, food and a range of fun activities. We'll take you trekking, tubing, kayaking and elephant riding, but also give you plenty of free time to sit back and soak up the beauty of nature out here in the jungles of Khao Sok.

Staying in tree houses high up in the rainforest canopy and raft houses on Chiew Larn Lake, we'll make sure you get a real feel for jungle living.

Tour Inclusion :

- Transfer by join-in open Tree Tops bus from Surat Thani train station OR Surat Airport connecting with the night train from Bangkok.

Transfer by combination taxi/public bus from Phuket hotel (Kata-, Karon- or Patong Beach):+500 THB pp. Other beaches +250 THB surcharge per person

Day by Day Itinerary :

Date 1 : Surat Thani - Khao Sok

Travel to Khao Sok from Phuket Bus Station** by the 7:30 am air-conditioned public bus. The Tree Tops staff meets you on arrival at the public bus station at Khao Sok; arrival at Tree Tops around 11:30am. Or they pick you up at Oum Restaurant (right opposite of Suratthani train station) at 8:00am for transfer by songthaew or minibus*; arrival at Tree Tops around 10:30am

After lunch, we'll tube down the Klong Sok on inner-tubes, which can be quite spectacular, or go canoeing. We'll visit a beautiful viewpoint, a small waterfall and the local temple where we can feed the monkeys. Dinner and overnight stay in your tree house room.

Date 2 : Khao Sok - Raft House

After breakfast you'll be transferred to Rajaprabha boat dock. The boat departs at 10:30am and stops on its way at the local Takhun Market. The boat journey to the raft houses wil take about 1 hour. We'll have lunch there and afterwards visit a local fishing village, swim in a bat cave and walk to a waterfall. Back at the raft houses there's some time to relax before dinner. To conclude the day, we'll do a short night safari to observe the nocturnal life of the rainforest. Sleep overnight in your raft house.

Date 3 : Raft House - Surat Thani

Before breakfast we'll have an early morning canoe trip. After breakfast you'll return by boat to the Rajaprabha Dock, arrival about 10am; transfer by songthaew or minibus to Suratthani*; or to the local bus stop for the public bus to Phuket or Suratthani.
