Tour Overview :

San Kamphaeng handicrafts and hot springs

Is a full day excursion that takes us through the beautiful surroundings of San Kamphaeng.

The tour starts at 8:30AM from our office in Baan Nai Fun 1.

We cycle mostly over quiet lanes trough local villages and pas by stunning rice fields until we arrive at Bo Sang.

Here we have a look around and make some pictures while we see how they produce umbrella’s and waivers from bamboo and Sa paper.

After the pleasure of drinking a fresh cup of coffee we continue our tour towards San Kamphaeng.

During the route we discover many different workshops where they work with mango wood or aluminum for the production of vases, candle holders, ashtray’s or even key changes.

After visiting and photographing these places we continue cycling next to a canal and trough rice fields towards the San Kamphaeng hot springs. Here we first have a delicious local lunch before we surrender ourselves to the relaxing warm water of the hot springs.

Of course there is plenty of time to enjoy a relaxing Thai massage. (Not included)

After visiting the hot springs our transport for the way back is waiting for us.

We and our bicycles are transported back to Chiang Mai where we will arrive around 04:30PM.
