Silver-eared Mesia, Grey-headed Parrotbill, Red-winged Shrike-Babbler, Grey-cheeked Nun Babbler, Black-throated Sunbird, Gould’s Sunbird, Giant Pitta, Grey Treepie, Hume’s Pheasant, Silver Pheasant, Scarlet Minivet, Verditer Flycatcher, Slaty-blue Flycatcher, Slaty-black Flycatcher, Rufous-gorgeted Flycatcher, Sapphire Flycatcher, Orange-flanked Bush Robin, White-Belied Redstart, Daurian Redstart, Chestnut-belied Rock Thrush, Siberian Thrush Grey-headed Thrush, Tiger Thrush, Chestnut-caped Ground Thrush, etc.


DOI ANGKHANG
Attractive birds include:

Hume's Pheasant, Rufous-winged Buzzard, Black Eagle, Mountain Bamboo-Partridge, Golden-throated Barbet, Crimson-breasted Woodpecker, Bay Woodpecker etc.

Date 1 : Bangkok - Chiang Mai

Bangkok – Chiang Mai - Doi Inthanon National Park

Depart Bangkok to Chiang Mai by the morning flight (or pick up at the hotel in Chiang Mai). On arrival in Chaing Mai, transfer by an air-cond. Van to check in at the resort near Doi Inthanon National Park. Begin our birding as time permit.

Spend two full-days birding on Doi Inthanon.

Spend a whole day on Doi Pui, where some more bird species are worth seeing.

We leave Chiang Mai in the morning for Doi Angkhang. As roadside birding is

good along the route to Doi Angkhang, we would stop somewhere for birdwatching, and

arrive at Doi Angkhang in the evening.
