Doi Suthep Pui-Doi Inthanon (4 days / 3 nights) DOI INTHANON NATIONAL PARK The park incorporates Thailand's highest mountain and is one of the most visited natural reserves in the country. An area of 272 square kilometers mountainous surroundings contains some of its most prolific birds and flowers. The park is good for birding throughout the year. One of the two races of the Green-tailed Sunbird endemic to Thailand is restricted to the summit of the park, which rises to 2,565 meters.

Day by Day Itinerary :

Date 1 : Bangkok - Doi Suthep Pui

We will depart Bangkok for Chiang Mai by plane and transfer on a van to Doi Suthep Pui, an area of open oak and pine forest where some bird species are worth seeing. Late afternoon we will transfer to Doi Inthanon.

Overnight : Resort near the park.
Meal : L/D

Date 2 : Doi Inthanon - Doi Inthanon

We will spend full day birding on Doi Inthanon.

Date 3 : Doi Inthanon - Doi Inthanon

We will spend full day birding on Doi Inthanon.


Overnight : Resort near the park.
Meal : B/L/D

Date 4 : Doi Inthanon - Bangkok

After morning birding around the resort area, we will leave for Chiang Mai to visit open scrub and grassland on the western outskirts of the city to search for Shrike, Woodswallow, after completing our birding in Chiang Mai we will catch a flight to Bangkok and transfer to your hotel where the trip concludes.
