Rooftop Restaurants

The sky literally is the limit when it comes to Bangkok’s dining options. The city has neck-achingly tall hotels that have their own restaurants at the very top. Among these is the gorgeous Sirocco restaurant, which sits 65 floors up at Lebua at State Tower. The restaurant is exclusive and exquisite, with a great range of international food and is so busy that booking ahead is essential to get that perfect view. Vertigo, on the 62nd floor of the Banyan Tree Hotel, has similarly spectacular views, along with an extensive food and wine menu.

Very slightly more down to earth, on the 25th floor of Column Tower, sits the Long Table. Its panoramic views can be enjoyed while seated at one enormous table, thought to be the longest in the world. For another view of Bangkok, head over to Lumphini Park, where D’Sens Bar and Restaurant is on the 22nd floor of the Dusit Thani Bangkok. A French-styled eaterie and an impressive three Michelin stars make it one of the finest places to dine in the whole of the capital.
