Up high in Thailand’s mist-covered mountains are several luxury resorts. These offer the chance to wake up in complete stillness and listen to nature before embarking on a day of discovery.

In the north-eastern region, which is famed for its agriculture and unique culture, there sits Kirimaya, a resort that allows guests to get up close to wildlife, wander along nature trails or enjoy its 18-hole golf course, which was designed by Jack Nicklaus.
