The museum is located at 352-354, Thanon Sri Ayuddhaya, Phayathai, Rachatewee, near the Phayathai intersection. The place used to be the residence of Prince ChumbhotParibatra of NagorSvarge and his wife M.R. PantipParibatra.The land was a cabbage garden, that is why it is called " SuanPakkad " in Thai. At present, the museum exhibits various types of arts antiques such as personal stuff and artifacrs of the royal family “Paribatra.” 

The 8 traditional Thai houses ages more than 100 years.  On the ground floor of the first house is "the Prince Paribatra Music Room" whose owner is known as the Father of Thai Classical Music. The second house showcases personal artifacts while the third one shows traditional musical instruments. For the fourth one, it exhibits ancient objects such as bronze Buddha’s images in Sukhothai style and carved tusks. The fifth house has the pre-historic objects on display upstairs and a collection of shells and minerals. The sixth shows Sawankaloke wares and prehistoric flint tools.  The seventh one showcases Khon mask and puppets and the last one is devoted to the prehistoric arts of "Ban Chiang", in UdonThani province and the lacquer pavilion built in the reign of King Narai exhibits the paintings depicting various events from the Lord Buddha, along with others from the Hindu epic, Ramayara, also the numerous scenes from daily Thai life, as well as some showing early foreign visitors to Ayudhya.

In the 2nd floors of the Chumbhot-Pantip Center of Arts exhibits a Ban Chiang museum, collecting Ban Chiang artifacts over 4,000 years old such as pottery, stone bracelets and glass beads found in the Northern East of Thailand.
